Voting~.

If you're going to be away from home (e.g. at college) for this upcoming election, here's what you can do--

  1. Download and print the absentee ballot application.
  2. Fill out the form. You can find your municipality and district on THIS MAP. Your municipality is the named region (for example, I'm in O'Hara), and the district is the color-coded area (#3 for me). I'm pretty sure that "Ward" only applies to people living in the numbered segments (see the bottom of the page with the map).
  3. Mail the form (USPS only; no fedex or any other private carrier) to the following address:
Allegheny County Voter Registration Office
542 Forbes Ave STE 604
Pittsburgh PA 15219-2953

Thanks! This is helpful!
Does "Post office" have anything to do with city?
Do you think I need my middle name?

I'm not 100% sure on the post office part.

What I did was this...

I went to the post office locator, put in "Pittsburgh", "Pennsylvania", and my zip code (15215).

The post office with that zip code is technically in Sharpsburg, so even though I live in a different municipality (O'Hara), I put down Sharpsburg as my post office.

And I'd say that putting down your middle name shouldn't hurt. Even if your original voter registration wasn't filled out with your middle name included, I don't think it will cause a problem.
